Warranty terms and defects
Warranty
terms and defects.
On all our products
the normal warranty of one year applies. Arworld has its own reapairservice en
always has its workplace and selected artists do all the repairs and
reconstructions.
Excluded of Warranty.
The following cases are excluded from the normal warranty:

Broken
sculptures.

Damage as a
consequence of wrongful use.

Liquid- or
water damage.

Damage caused by
falling or bumping.
These can however be
repaired or reconstructed for a reasonable price outside your normal warranty.
Defect on
arrival.
When it turns out that your product does not function properly on arrival or is
broken from the start, please contact our cutomerservice. If we can confirm /
check the defect you will receive a new product in most cases. Please note: If
you send a product back which did not function or was broken, be sure to include
all of the original packaging in the best possible state.
Action plan Warranty and Defects.
Do you wish to use the warranty? Please follow the next action plan for a smooth
handling of your problems. This way we can handle your return product as soon as
possible.

Please inform our
customerservice that you wish to return a product.

When you return a
product for repairs please follow the next set of instructions:

Please ALWAYS
include a clear discription of your complaint.

Be sure to ALWAYS
give us your full name, address, phone number and email address.

Include a copy of
your original invoice and (if supplied) an original warranty card.

Send only the
product on which you want to apply the warranty...
-
Wrap the product
very well so no transportdamage can occur.

We advise you to
send your product signed and insured.

After we receive the
product we will send you an email to confirm.
-
If you send the
product within the warranty period of one year please note that the postal
costs are for the customer and include 10 GBP for signed and insure the return
of the product to you.

After receiving your
product we will investigate and give you a repair proposal as soon as
possible.
Costs.
-
Please Note: The
costs of shipping and handling are for the customer.

If we have to send a
product back to you when the product is beyond repairs it will cost you a
total of 20 GBP.
(excluding
shipping and
handeling)

Research costs are 30
GBP (outside the normal warranty and if your product is beyond repairs) unless
proven otherwise.
Things outside normal warranty
are:

Drop damage,
bumping of the product, water damage, forcibly handling of the product,
wrongful usage.
You will get three
(3) month warranty on repairs unless stated differently.
Should you not have received a repair-status e-mail after the expected repair
period has passed you can send an e-mail with the status-request to
repair@artworld.nl
.
Our service department can be reached from Monday till Friday for your
questions. On Saturday the repaired item can be picked up in our store in
Hoogvliet, Rotterdam.
On Sundays we are closed.
Warranty Terms.

The item (as
mentioned on the invoice) bought by you has a one year warranty from the date
(also mentioned on the invoice) for material- and/or fabrication faults unless
the law states any different.

If the product has a
defect like material- and/or fabrication faults within the determent warranty
term (this will be determent by artworld) Artworld.nl will, without any costs
repair or replace the item.
-
Replacement and/or
repair will not renew or prolong the original warranty term.
-
Liability for caused
damage (in any form) caused by a malfunction in an item or product is
explicitly excluded.

Repairs outside the
normal warranty term are being processed as soon as possible for a reasonable
price.

No claim can be made
on the warranty if the product is wrongly handled, by others then artworld (or
by artworld determent repair men) has been repaired, the product has been the
victim of severe neglect, brands and/or serial numbers of the product and/or
the warranty certificate has been changed and/or altered.

With an eventual
malfunction the item must be send to artworld with a copy of the invoice and
other enclosed warranty certificates and documents.

The shipping and
handling cost involving warranty issues are for the customer.
